Post: Operator (Tenure basis)

  • Trades: Fitter, Turner, Welder, Machinist, Electrician
Essential Qualification (as per CTS/NCVT)
  • ITI in the respective trade under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS).
  • Must possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) and NAC issued by NCVT as a regular candidate.
  • UR/EWS/OBC: First Class 60% and above in ITI.
  • SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 55% and above in ITI (5% relaxation).
Note: Percentage norms apply to ITI marks; NAC is mandatory alongside NTC.
Age Criteria

Cut‑off date for age reckoning: 12 September 2025

  • GEN/EWS: up to 29 years
  • OBC: up to 32 years
  • SC/ST: up to 34 years
PwD candidates get 10 years relaxation over and above category relaxation, as applicable.
Selection Process (Written Test)
  • Duration: 2 hours, Objective/MCQ
  • Pattern:
    • Part I – General Awareness: 20 Q
    • Part II – English & Reasoning: 20 Q
    • Part III – Trade/Discipline: 60 Q
  • Qualifying marks: UR/EWS/OBC – 60%; SC/ST/PwD – 55%
Tenure & Emoluments
  • Tenure: up to 4 years (contract basis).
  • Basic Pay: ₹16,900 + DA + HRA + Perks (~13.78%) + ₹1500 Medical.
  • Annual Increment: 3% (performance‑linked).
  • Statutory benefits like PF, Gratuity & Bonus as applicable.
